Objective

To provide educational facilities to the underprivileged and deserving students.

Why and How

Education is the right of every child. It has the power to transform one's life. Education is not a preparation for life, it is the life itself. It is a way to dream and pursue them. However, not all kids who enrol at school get the chance to go for higher studies. Mainly because of financial constraints, they are compelled to sacrifice their hunger for knowledge.

Lokmangal Foundation has always sensed the need for higher education. Out of this inspiration, we have initiated the Vidyadaan Yojana, or as we call it LOTUS (Lokmangal Organization for Teaching Underprivileged Students), where deserving students are adopted and their educational expenses are met by the Foundation.

Under this ambitious scheme, every year 200 HSC passed students are supported by Lokmangal Foundation. By shouldering their educational cost, we try to contribute for their future. This is our small contribution to help them fulfil their great dreams. Because they have a right to dream and to fulfil it too.

You can adopt these children and share the responsibility. We help such people who want to create a better future for our next generation. We are to bridge the gap between those underprivileged students with the seemingly insatiable urge to learn and those generous donors who would desire to lend a helping hand to those lesser endowed.

We act as a facilitator between donors and students by channelizing funds through a common platform. The donors receive the details of the students assisted with the help of their funds so they can keep in touch with them while tracking their progress. LOTUS lies on the foundations of trust, transparency and accountability.

There is a beautiful saying which states that "Education breeds confidence and confidence breeds hope." We want to be that confidence in the hearts of students who hope for the best and have the spirit to achieve that.
